The second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final was completed in the early hours of March 17, 2022.
La Liga and the English Premier League both have three teams in the last eight, with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal in La Liga and Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City in the English premier League. Germany's Bayern Munich and Portugal's Benfica are also in the last eight.
The draw for the Quarter-finals of the Champions League will take place at 19:00 GMT on March 18, 2022, and will determine the semi-final divisions and the "home team" for the final.
From the quarter-finals onwards, teams in the same league are no longer shunned or seeded.
There will be two quarter-final matches in mid-week in early and mid-April. In late April and early May, there will be two semi-finals. The final will be played at the Stade de France in Paris on May 28.
